Make this special place your special place. Host your wedding, business meeting, presentation, workshop, baptism, naming ceremony, private concert, reading, class, recital, life celebration, dinner party, or photo shoot… at the Chapel Restoration
On the banks of the Hudson River, against the romantic backdrop of the Highlands, The Chapel Restoration is a spectacular venue for weddings, ceremonies and private events. Built in 1833 in the Greek Revival style, it is located in the charming 19th century village of Cold Spring, Putnam County, New York. The chapel is a simple meeting room with three sections of enclosed pews and two aisles, seating 84 people on the main floor and another 10 in the balcony. Double doors open onto a portico facing the river. Triple windows on the north and south sides provide abundant natural light. There is heat and air conditioning. The chapel is available year-round.
Our modern river view Chancery Building with it’s elegant stone courtyard provides a space for meeting, celebrations and getting ready. It offers two restrooms and a dressing room with ample natural and supplemental light for hair and makeup. The small kitchen has a stove, fridge and dishwasher for food prep and clean up. There is ample parking available and walkable access to the adjacent Metro-North train station.

The Chancery
One of the most beautiful, perfectly proportioned contemporary buildings on the Hudson, or anywhere else.
Joe Chapman, architect, 2009
Nestled discreetly behind and below the chapel, The Chancery, designed by Architect Peter Smith, provides meeting and archival space, changing room, restrooms and kitchen facilities. A garden roof and small courtyard further integrate the building into its surroundings.
The Chancery takes us farther on the road to self-sustainability. Providing greater comfort and amenities for our guests, it makes it possible for us to host additional events and expand our programs. (more…)
