Chet Siegel, comedian and easy cry, was dumped twice by her ex-fiancé during season one of the pandemic, and now you’re all invited to the funeral for her canceled wedding. In this multimedia solo show / immersive nervous breakdown, Chet combines wedding and funeral traditions along with standup, characters, poetry, and a *little bit of magic* to grieve her broken engagement and figure out if she can get over this or anything really.
My Dead Wedding was developed as part of the Ars Nova CAMP Artistic Residency and debuted at Ars Nova in NYC in May 2023. Since then, the show has been performed at Union Hall, Littlefield, UCB LA, & ran for 9 months at UCB NY.
